Wow, just finished up performing on The Ellen Show. It was really awesome and well, pretty surreal at the same time. I still get the worst stage fright when doing big shows like that. It was a really nice stage set up though and I thought it all came together perfectly. Ellen is awesome and I think that Hayley may have been just a little bit star struck. It's funny how we can really still get star struck and continue to be all the time. I admit that I've had a few "wow, I'm really here, doing this," moments. They just keep happening more often and I'm sure that when we get out on tour this summer they'll be even more insane.
I'm really excited for the Honda Civic Tour. The bands who have played in in the past (Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, Panic! At the Disco) are absolutely huge and I can't believe we're on that level now. Also performing with great artists like Tegan and Sara and New Found Glory? Oh my god Josh is having a field day, that I admit.
I've been away from touring for awhile and back in it now. It sounds like things are going to get really amazing for us from here on out. I'm definitely more than optimistic. The way things have been going lately we all need a little optimism in our lives. |
